Case Study Video for Toshiba at Alice Springs
Toshiba is renowned for their products and services in the printing, computer, machine electronics and the technical support industry. Among other things, what stands out about the brand is their in-field and dealer channel service, particularly for remote pockets of Australia. To capture the essence of what differentiates them from others, we travelled to Alice Springs to shoot a case study video for Toshiba.
The shoot takes into account, the quality of Toshiba’s local service and dealings with customers, irrespective of terrain or area remoteness. One of the most interesting aspects of this series was that we didn’t have the luxury of a site recce prior to shooting. We visualised and planned on the run. Even timelines were tight. Having worked in situations like this before, we’re always mentally equipped to predict challenges and also have all the technical support to back us up. So whether it’s a planned or staged film production, documentary or guerilla style filming, our expertise has helped each of our videos shine.
One of the greatest highlights of this case study video for Toshiba was to be able to see Alice Springs in all it’s rugged beauty, from up-close-and-personal. Our drone captured a lot of stunning footage too.
We collaborated with DK Advertising, who was responsible for directing the situations during the shoot.
Our Director of Photography, Duane is the mastermind behind all the filming and drone work. He worked with the following equipment:
1 x HDSLR, 1 x Monopod, 1 x Tripod, 1 x slider
1 x DJI Phantom 3 Pro Drone
1 x 16-35mm 2.8 lens, 1 x 70 – 200mm 2.8 lens, 1 x 24-70mm 2.8 lens
The good news is that the brand plans to use this video as part of an advertising campaign that will be launched this month.
The video was well-received by Toshiba ( along with other videos that were included in the series).
